Very rare chrome Bauhaus side table in partially restored condition. The table most probably dates from the 1930s and was produced by the UP Zavody company in Czechoslovakia. It is a relatively heavy tubular steel frame with a larger diameter than many tubular steel pieces of furniture from the later period. The existing surface was replaced with new linoleum in light pistachio green. Parts of the drawers have been added / repaired in the course of time; whether the lower wooden shelf is still original could unfortunately not be traced. The chrome plating is in good condition for its age and shows a wonderful shine; there are some spots with visible scratches and smaller traces of rust, furthermore the chrome plating on the rear floor brace is missing in a larger spot (see pictures).
